Theme: A movement of where we live.      

  Topic: Route , Assistance ,Price 


1.Route line

   BTS in first time have 2 routes 1.Sukhumvit after that it connect from Sukhumvit  from Onnuch to Baring and Si-lom
Later, the route has been expanded from Saphan Taksin to Wongwian Yai ,  Pho Nimit Talat Phlu,and Wutthakat  Bang Wa respectively.The total distance of service is 38.7 km in 35 stations.

2. Assistance

   The disabled can use the BTS service through passenger elevators were installed in 5 stations consist of Mo-chit,Siam,Chong Nonsi,Asok and On-nuch that do no fare required, press the botton and called staff and show an identity card for the disabilities.But if, in case of use other stations that do not have an elevator will be charged as normal rate.

3.BTS Skytrain service rate.

   In the current (2018), the bts Skytrain's fare is at 16-59 baht. By price increase based on the number of stations that travel, but in the future the fare, according to the concession contract will be about 21-61 baht but now BTS make prepaid card call "Rabbit card" Rabbit card make promotion for student to pay cheaper than based price.

Did many people follow this movement at the very beginning?

  :Too many people who lived in Bangkok agree with building  BTS because BTS will make trportation easier than before EX.Traffic jam and Prices are cheaper than taxi.



What was the tipping point? In other words, when did the movement start to be popular?

    :Traffic on the roads in Bangkok too dense.The journey take a lot of time,will probably travel to destination slower than it should be.But BTS makes use of less travel time and the fare to travel by BTS is not too expensive.Most people can afford.Make the BTS popular.

Is this movement still popular today? Why, or why not?

   : Yes because BTS make convinient way to travel , save time and BTS have many line that connected to many important place in Bangkok that's why BTS too popular in travelling in Bangkok.


Has it changed over time? If so, how?

   : Yes it changed because they need more faster than it be and build others line near the edge of town. and price will go more expensive than before.
